Operations Supervisor
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations, establishing an environment that maximizes resources including manpower planning, equipment and auditing for reliability and efficiency
- Train and supervise production /logistics workers to ensure they follow company’s standards and procedures
- Coordinate, plan and schedule manpower requirements
- Ensure that daily production targets are met, and orders are made before scheduled delivery dates
- Responsible for ensuring adequate ingredients are available for production
- Oversee quality control checks of completed orders and pre-processing to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
- Arrange and support logistics co-ordination
- Handle HR related matters on workers’ leave and overtime for payroll
- Engage and motivate workers through regular feedback sessions for improvement and efficiency
- Review and suggest improvement in processes and quality to enhance customer experience
- Track Key Performance Indicators to ensure adherence with targets for performance and management reporting
- Develop and enhance SOPs for compliance and process improvement
- Upkeep the equipment and premise
- Liaise with relevant contractors to ensure maintenance of all equipment
- Promote and ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to
Requirements
- Minimum diploma in any field (Engineering would be a plus but not a must)
- At least 3 years of work experience in production planning and managing production operations in food service/manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Able to manage and motivate a team of workers with diverse background
- Strong in documentation and process enhancement
