Job Description:
1) Preparation of export documents (Invoice, Packing List and BL) for assigned product and market
2) Validation & verification of export documents of assigned product / market
3) Issuance of Insurance certificate and CO for the assigned product lines
4) Liaise with forwarders / shipping lines for all BL related matters (Switch BL, Freight Payments, Letter of Indemnity, verification of Draft BL)
5) Document negotiation for shipments transacted under LC and DP terms
6) Courier original export documents / telex release
7) Perform any other ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
1) 8 to 10 years’ experience in preparing & processing full set of export documents.
2) Liaise with shipping lines/forwarders for arrangement of freight & switch bill of lading related processes
3) Liaise with banks & regulatory authorities for processing of export documents.
4) Prior experience in trading company will be advantageous.
5) Familiarisation with any ERP software for processing of shipping documentation will be advantageous.
