APAC Rewards + Payroll Lead
My client is looking to add a new headcount to the Singapore team, this role will focus on compensation and benefits, rewards and have oversight over payroll for the APAC region.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tailored compensation and benefits strategies for multiple markets.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation packages aligned with industry trends.
- Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits for the APAC region to HR teams and business leaders.
- Manage the annual salary review process, bonus programs, and benefits administration. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across all countries in the region.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base on payroll, tax, social security, and benefits for each market. Ensure all practices adhere to local laws and regulations and meet audit and reporting requirements, including statutory, external, and internal obligations.
- Collaborate with the global rewards team to ensure alignment with global policies. Work closely with the APAC HR team, Finance, and Legal teams, as well as external partners like payroll vendors, insurance brokers, and tax advisors.
- Interpret compensation and benefits data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
Requirements:
- Degree in HR/Finance/Business or a related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience covering the APAC region in an MNC enviornment
