The Corporate Finance Manager acts as the Project team liaison in finance for all corporate finance issues. This includes:
· Prepare and/or Review models and valuations;
· Provide a commercial and investment lens in the project selection process;
· Develop alternative solutions to solve project financing challenges;
· Support the Project team’s development of co-financing solutions/presentations;
· Support special projects in the venture capital / private equity space;
· Develop thinking around recycled plastic pricing and trading;
· Provide training on value drivers, good modelling practice, market operations etc.
· Review and improvement of credit scoring models used in risk management;
· Various other ad-hoc finance, secretarial and risk projects.
Requirements:
· Minimum 8 years of experience across finance roles
· Minimum 3 years of Big 4 experience in audit, forensic or due diligence
· Professional degree / certification (e.g. CFA, MBA, Chartered Accountant) preferred
· Green finance, financial institutional and/or non-profit sector experience is ideal
· Commercial / Investment mindset (such as long term viability of projects)
· Excellent valuation skills (technical and practical)
· Strong modelling background
· Problem solving in a financial engineering context (e.g. use of debt, equity, derivatives and hybrid instruments)
· Comfortable challenging assumptions
· Able to handle confidential data at all times
