Reporting to the General Manager , the incumbent will be responsible to: -
- Takes Charge of Sales functions events and functions efforts to maximise revenue, profit, and the satisfaction of Guests in line with company objectives and values
- Promote and market private rooms and main dining in the outlets for functions.
- Promote and market company merchandise to Guest and Corporate Sales as well as B2B.
- Acquire new business opportunities and maintain existing business relationships with accounts.
- Engage clients by timely responses to emails, calls and walk in enquiries and drive conversion
- Engage clients by attending to sales enquiries and conducting site inspections for clients.
- Provide services to our customers in order to grow share of the account on behalf of the Company .
- Oversee coordination with Kitchen, FOH and other relevant departments for support to ensure the overall success of events.
- Respond to all groups' enquiries and work with groups, meetings and events team to drive business conversion.
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.
- Prepare group proposals, engage in negotiations and confirmation of business through contracting.
- Contribute and participate in company organised sales activities and any other organised sales initiatives .
- Represents the company at customer events.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets as an individual and contribute to team's revenue targets.
- Comply to company credit policy and ensure full settlement of payments within agreed timeline as contracted.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have proven track record of at least 2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity in the hotel & restaurant industry.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, proactive, service and result oriented.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate in a team.
