Job Overview
This role is to manage the full sets of accounts for Marco business entities in the region, and to provide professional expertise, supporting the company’s business growth. She/He also needs to work extensively with government agencies to ensure payroll payment and tax compliance. This role will naturally grow to be an Assistant accounting manager in 12-18 months.
Roles & Responsibilities
- In charge of APAC entities.
- Responsible for accounting operations, intercompany activities, reconciliation, monthly management reporting, statutory reporting, GST filing, corporate tax filing and preparation of financial statements.
- Liaise and co-ordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax, and government authorities where required.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes.
Requirement
- Good degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA/ ACCA certification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences; full sets of accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel skills; other systems experience will be added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
