Clinical Research Coordinator (Contract, Div of Med - MIP2)

You will be part of the team comprises therapists, paediatricians, nurses and administrative staff alongside with PAP Community Foundation in the School-based Child Development Unit (SCDU) to transfer the necessary skill required, then codify the skills and knowledge into new systems and processes for scaling up to deliver a fuller suit of services young family need. To support the principal investigators in research and administrative matters.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • To ensure research protocol is adhered to and conducted in accordance to IRB requirements.
  • To liaise with internal and external agencies/parties and facilitate successful implementation of studies.
  • To prepare schedule for site visits and data collection (e.g., administration of consent forms, surveys, etc).
  • To assist with research matters such as literature review and writing of scientific manuscripts for publication.
  • To ensure accurate documentation of data entry and timely completion of data analysis.
  • To analyse, evaluate and interpret collected data.
  • Assist in the development and writing of grant proposals and/or business plans for specific research projects if required.
  • Assist and coordinate in the provision of support services to Principal Investigators/Investigators and researchers.
  • Monitor the progress of research activities; maintain records of research activities and support the PI in preparing periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by the Division/Departments/Services, Principal Investigators/Investigators. administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies.
  • Organise and facilitate meetings, conferences, and other events associated with research activities; may perform and/or coordinate activities, as appropriate to research objectives.
  • To assist in other related duties incidental to the work described therein.


Job requirements:

  • Degree / Masters in Life Sciences, Health Sciences or other related field
  • Prior experience in a healthcare related setting with research background is preferred
  • Competent in the use of data analysis tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research, NVivo and Stata
  • Possess good oral and communication skills
  • Able to work meticulously and independently
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Possess initiative and drive in a fast-paced setting
