Reporting to the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solution), the primary job responsibilities:
- Recommend, identify and devise Business Development Plans and Sales Strategies for the Satellite Subscriptions (Airtime) Team, in alignment with Business Unit’s Objectives, to ensure profitability and growth in sales revenue.
- Connect and discuss with identified customers to understand their needs.
- Prepare and present quotations / commercial proposals in order to follow up on sales matters.
- Work with the Product Manager to create high quality proposals for the customers, while aligning to customers’ needs.
- Provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support to customers.
- Implement and execute all business plans, while aligning to our corporate goals, to achieve sales performance target.
- Liaise closely with the Technical Manager to ensure efficiency in the sales and delivery of systems and services to the customers.
- Work with Network Support team on customers’ enquiries and maintain the relationship with existing customers.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solutions).
Other Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.
- 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.
- Good Sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.
- Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.
- Good customer contacts with ship managers/owners will be an advantage
- Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
