Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in both the investor relation function and work on the financial analysis and planning internally within the ASMPT Group.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support in investor relation (IR) activities, including dealing with investors and analysts, preparation for earnings calls, roadshows, analyst/ investor days and investor conferences.
- To be the spokesperson of the group when dealing with investor community, along with the Head of IR and the Group CEO/Group CFO.
- Provide timely research and analysis in stock price movements and activities related to peers/ indices/ industry.
- Perform macro-economic and industry-specific research and prepare related reports.
- Work with the Head of IR in preparation of strategic positioning and messaging for the company.
- Act as a business partner to contribute to the growth and profitability objectives of the business by providing management with timely and accurate information of performance trends and analysis of financial metrices for decision making.
- Support ad-hoc projects, as and when needed.
Pre-requisites:
- Min. Degree in Economics or Finance or Business with minimum 5-8 years of working experience.
- Prior working experience in Electronics / Semiconductor industry and/or MNC with manufacturing operations will be an advantage .
- Prior working experience in equity markets / research / investments as an analyst will also be considered .
- Liaison with counterparts in China and Hong Kong.
- Proficiency in MS Office software especially in Power Point and Excel is essential.
- Proficiency in Bloomberg will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated, initiatives driven and able to work independently.
