Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and manage Splunk infrastructure, including indexer and search head clusters.
· Optimize clustered Splunk deployments and monitor platform operations for proactive issue resolution.
· Integrate Splunk with legacy data sources, security tools, and Cloud Service providers. Develop Splunk Technology Add-ons and custom scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell, VBScript)
· Onboard data sources, create indexes and data models, and establish CIM-compliant data mappings. Manage Splunk knowledge objects (Apps, Dashboards, Alerts).
· Design and implement Correlation Searches in Splunk Enterprise Security, onboard Threat Intelligence feeds, and drive operational model transformation of SecOps.
· Assist Security Analysts with Splunk environment utilization.
Skills/Requirement
· Minimum 3 years as a Splunk Consultant.
· Experience designing and implementing Security Operation Centers with Splunk.
· Strong understanding of Splunk architecture (search head and indexer clustering, deployment server, monitoring console).
· Proficiency in SPL, regular expressions, and data pipeline
· Experience with platform and application deployment tools (Git, Terraform).
· Ability to build Splunk Technology Add-ons and apps.
· Knowledge of security components (Firewall, WAF, Vulnerability scanners).
· Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers (OCI preferred).
· Knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized architectures, and network protocols/services.
