Role Description:
This position reports to the Industry Development Director and is responsible for analyzing business development approaches and strategies, developing business plans and demand generation for the allocated business sectors, and setting long-range goals for market penetration. He/ She will manage bid documents and proposals, contribute to the organization's online presence and marketing efforts, conduct in-person and online talks to generate awareness and interest in Straits' products and services, as well as leverage sales tools for accurate forecasting and sales facilitation. He/ She will also update business development strategies according to market trends, identify new business opportunities, and present insights on industry developments. In addition, this role will communicate client feedback, build client and partner relationships, and coordinate with various teams to support product roadmap, customer engagements, and address support issues.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Analyse business development strategies, develop business development plans, setting goals and objectives for market penetration, manage and preparation of bid documents and proposals, contribute to social media presences, develop account plan, strategies and activities to build and strengthen relationships with clients
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for growing revenue, obtain insights from network, present business trends, represent company at business networks and industry events, research potential clients
- Communicate client feedback to stakeholders, develop engagement plans and roadmaps, engage clients in new products, services and events, evaluate client feedback and identify areas of improvement
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support product roadmap and work with project team on customer engagements, engage marcom team to create opportunities for marketing collaborations, publicity and testimonials.
