Job Description
The successful candidate will provide secretariat support for the Node for Impact of Continuing Education (NICE) and managing research administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of various workgroups.
- Collaborate in some of the workgroup’s research projects.
- Coordinate meetings and act as a liaison with SUSS and collaborators.
- Track research expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations.
- Monitor KPIs and assist in preparing reports for management.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop policies and procedures for NICE.
- Assist in other secretariat duties as required.
- Manage ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics, Sociology of Work or Behavioural Psychology.
- 1-2 years of experience in research administrations within an academic research office, institute or company preferred.
- Self-starter and problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and display initiative.
- Ability of multi-tasking and responding to changing priorities.
- Good time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheet computations.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good work ethic and judgment
- Good team player
