JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting of daily finance activities.
- Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances and accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain and update cost accounting models and systems, standard costs to advise management on price changes in order to maintain and maximize profit margins
- Lead the development, roll-up and communication of inventory planning activities
- Conduct research and data analysis to inform business decisions
- Analyze industry trends, identify expansion opportunities and competitive threats in the market
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company
- Prepare and present periodic financial forecast and results to the Managing Director.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the management team and advising on long-term business and financial planning
- Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Company
- Advise operational leaders on financial, strategic, organizational, and business issues for both short- and long-term growth strategies.
- Assist in implementation of management and administrative financial systems, policies, and procedures to provide structure and discipline for sustained business growth.
- Manage & liaise with external auditor/tax agent
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, CPA, ACCA or its other equivalent
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Good business sense and acumen
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, and able to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions.
