The engineer is required to be on standby with on-call availability with varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays on rotational basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure and upgrade a wide variety of security technologies (e.g. FW, UTM, IDS/IPS, SSE, EPP/EDR, VPN, DLP, and etc.)
- Lead and mentor a team of post-sales engineers responsible for the implementation and deployment of network and security solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team in resolving complex technical issues and challenges during implementation.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and support teams to develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans tailored to meet customer requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our network and security solutions, providing pre-sales support as needed to assist in solution design and proposal development.
- Drive customer success by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to network and security solutions, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies to streamline implementation and enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic initiatives and drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in a technical role within the network and security industry, with a strong understanding of networking protocols, security technologies, and best practices.
- Extensive technical know-how of network security devices (E.g. Firewall, Intrusion Prevention, Web Application Firewalls, Web Proxies, DNSSEC)
- Compliance & Security: Familiarity with industry-accepted information security and IT standards, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance.
- Proven experience leading and managing technical teams, with a focus on driving results, fostering collaboration, and developing talent.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCITP/MCSE, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent are mandatory as it is the part of project prerequisites.
- Experience on blockchain Security is preferred as it is part of this project.
- Experience with network and security solutions from leading vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba/Juniper, etc.
- Proficient in at least one scripting languages (E.g. YAML, JSON, Bash)
- Experience with Cloud Networks, Containers will be advantageous
- Experience with project management should be part and parcel for project coordination and management.
- ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Audit Certification is mandatory
- Ability to speak and write in Chinese as the incumbent requires to liaise with the China HQ counterparts/personnel for work or project related matters
