Our client is a prominent and reputable player in the manufacturing industry. There is now a need for the business to hire a driven and meticulous individual as their Treasury Analyst to be part of their treasury team.
Responsibilities:
- Cash Management: Monitoring daily cash flow to ensure the company can meet its financial commitments.
- Liquidity Management: Ensuring the company has access to funds in the short and long term, often through managing credit facilities, loans, or investments.
- Forecasting: Creating cash flow forecasts to predict future financial needs and managing liquidity accordingly.
- Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks related to interest rates, currency fluctuations, and other market conditions.
- Debt Management: Overseeing the company’s debt portfolio, managing repayments, and negotiating new loans or credit facilities.
- Investment: Placing excess cash in short-term investments that offer a balance between liquidity and return.
- Compliance: Ensuring the company follows financial regulations, including reporting and tax obligations related to treasury activities.
- Reporting: Preparing regular reports on the company’s financial position, liquidity, and treasury operations for senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with at least 1 or 2 years of Treasury, Accounting, or Finance experience
- Strong technical skills in Excel
- Accounting skill is a plus
- Experience in a global and matrixed company is a plus
- Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
