Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the industrial building, including maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, HVAC, and other critical infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, handle corrective maintenance tasks, and manage service providers to ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Ensure all facility operations adhere to relevant regulations, safety standards, and TAFEP guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance and address any issues promptly.
- Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring quality of work and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Review and approve service contracts and invoices.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the facilities budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and stakeholders, addressing their concerns and providing timely resolution to any issues related to the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, incidents, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on facility performance, maintenance status, and compliance.
- Respond to and manage emergency situations, including facility-related incidents, ensuring quick resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on industrial buildings.
- Experience in managing MEP systems and working with external contractors is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, HVAC, and related regulatory and safety standards.
- Familiarity with TAFEP guidelines and best practices in employment and workplace management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to managing facility-related issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours if required and to respond to emergencies as needed.
