Position Overview
The retail manager is responsible for assisting customers in finding the products they need and encouraging them to make purchases.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries about the store and its products.
- Calculate prices, process purchases, and handle cash or credit card transactions.
- Greet customers and identify their needs or preferences.
- Stay updated on current sales, promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
- Operate the cashier system and maintain sales records.
- Recommend and assist in locating merchandise based on customer preferences.
- Explore new markets and attract new customers.
- Assist with daily store maintenance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proficient in English.
- Pleasant personality with the ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership skills; energetic, organized, and self-motivated.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Skilled in working directly with the public, persuading customers to make purchases, and building constructive relationships with potential customers and markets.
