We are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our Azure infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to ensure smooth operations, scalability, and security of the cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage and configure Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and databases.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Implement and manage monitoring solutions, ensure high availability, and perform routine troubleshooting for Azure services.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce Azure security best practices, manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Automation & Optimization: Automate cloud tasks using Azure tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates to optimize cloud performance and reduce operational overhead.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and test backup and disaster recovery plans for Azure workloads.
- Cost Management: Monitor and manage cloud usage to optimize costs, and provide insights for cost forecasting and budget allocation.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and patching of Azure-based systems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to assist in deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for Azure infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing Azure environments.
- Strong experience in Azure cloud services (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, etc.)
- Proficient with Azure Active Directory, Azure RBAC, and IAM policies.
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform) is a plus.
- Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is preferred and additional Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
