RESPONSIBILITIES
- Polishing Glassware: Use appropriate cleaning solutions and tools to polish glasses, ensuring they are free of spots, smudges, and residues.
- Inspection: Examine glassware for any defects or damages, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Organization: Keep the polishing station and storage areas organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation for all glassware, including wine glasses, beer mugs, and water glasses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely availability of polished glassware.
- Maintenance: Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of polishing equipment and tools.
- REQUIREMENTS
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- High school diploma; WSQ Basic food handling is a plus.
- Bonus priority for candidates who can speak and write a language other than English, Malay, Chinese or Tamil.
