Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize, design, and create all visual merchandising point-of-sale materials for mass channel retailers.
• Initiate new and innovative VM solutions to optimize the consumer journey for consumers to discover our products and lead to higher conversion to sales.
• Ensure new launches and hero products are highlighted in all mass channel stores and promo displays.
• Communicate effectively with the [Key Account Executive] to manage new store openings’ visual merchandising process.
• Support planogram planning and changes with the [Key Account Executive]
• Execute visual merchandising materials, including window displays, in-store fixtures, in-store assets, product presentations and atriums/pop-ups that showcase the products effectively.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors to execute all VM activities.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand brand guidelines, objectives, and marketing campaigns to ensure design consistency and alignment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to bring innovative design ideas and concepts to the table.
• Use the latest design software and tools to create high-quality graphics and layouts.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
• Collaborate with external vendors, photographers, printers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the design process and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Ad hoc duties that deemed reasonable by line manager.
Qualifications
• Production / Design / Arts / Marketing background
• 1 – 2 years’ experience in the retail industry will be advantageous
• Design software competency such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a must.
• Understanding of consumer shopper behavior in the mass channel
• Well versed with social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
• Creative and detail-oriented
• Passionate about beauty
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
• Be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
