The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

  • Manage reports and ensure submission for signatories within the timeline.
  • Ensure reports are action upon every start of shift.
  • Traces to be checked at the start of shift and cleared by the end of shift.
  • Manage Reservations’ operations on email inbox (Reservations, Tour, and Website) and phone calls.
  • Create reservations and update all information received to bookings in Property Management System with accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and market segmentation of gained business.
  • Liaise with other departments and ensure revenue is maximized with inventory availability and correct pricing.
  • Handle 2nd level escalation of complaints from team members before bringing up to Managers.
  • Ensure no backlog in operations when there is full manning.
  • Ensure reservations are created with accuracy by the rates committed and information received.
  • Ensure amendments and cancellations of bookings are action upon with accuracy and timely.
  • Ensure correct market segmentation of bookings created.
  • To provide quotations with correct inventory availability and pricing
  • Maintain service standards when liaising with internal and external guests.
  • Knows Hotel’s products and services, room types as well as location and layout.
  • Knows the credit policy of hotel.
  • Process Advance Deposits, modifications, and cancellations promptly and timely.
  • Abide to Hotel’s and Department’s policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
