Morgan McKinley is currently hiring for a KYC Document Officer for a 6 months contract with our private banking client - renewable!
The role involves managing and guiding the Front Office through new client account openings, focusing on both documentation and KYC (Know Your Client) processes. The candidate will provide expert advice on KYC, Source of Wealth (SOW), and legal documentation, supporting the Front Office from the initial client adoption to the account funding stage. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with AML officers and various departments, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML standards and local regulations, and handling daily operational tasks and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate account openings.
- Advise the Front Office on complex KYC/AML and account structure issues.
- Act as a key advisor on all KYC, SOW, and AML topics.
- Support the Front Office in completing KYC/SOW information according to company standards.
- Enhance client risk assessments and management reports to improve risk control processes.
- Ensure compliance with global KYC/AML standards, documentation procedures, and local laws.
- Escalate operational and regulatory risks, contributing to mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with WM COO and Change functions to implement process improvements.
- Assist in reviewing controls to minimize operational risk.
- Update and maintain KOPs (Key Operating Procedures) for compliance with the latest requirements.
- Lead or represent WM Operations in projects related to NCA, KYC, SOW, or regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Banking, Accountancy, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience doing KYC Documentation, preferably in private banking sectors.
- With relevant experience in day to day doing check, activate account, sending letter, filing, scanning etc.
