RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle claims, specifically H&M, P&I, FD&D and LOH.
- Prepare all reports e.g. Monthly Claims Report.
- Renewal preparation including reviewing claims and underwriting data.
- Liaise with brokers and underwriters as required.
- Handling insurance related documentation.
- Responsibility for checking and processing insurance related documentation.
- Provision of timely statistics and reports as required.
- Provide budgetary updates to Fleet Managers and Accounts Department.
- Liaising with third party vessel managers on day to day operational matters.
- Liaise with departments over the renewal of non-marine insurance policies.
- Provide support and enhance inter-departmental processes.
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures.
- Actively participate in insurance related operations in accordance with the company's strategies.
- Hands on experience handling marine claims H&M / cargo / crew
- A degree or diploma in Maritime Law would be an advantage.
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
