Job Description
- Engineer, design and deliver grid connected or standalone solar photovoltaic systems (rooftop, ground mounted and floating arrays) on time and within budget.
- Prepare PVsyst report and manage proposals and bidding process for obtaining and delivering these services, including preparation of bill of materials (BOM) for project.
- Review solar system engineering designs, modeling, performance data, PVsyst report and provide engineering support during the construction process.
- Review the costs of structural estimates, interconnection, permitting agreements, production estimates, and assessment of commercial risk factors.
- Provide and/or review final bids, proposals, and RFIs, and provide support during construction and commissioning.
- Maintain design and proposal requirements, knowledge of codes and standards, design procedures, methods and process, improve efficiency of project development and project selection process.
- Selection of suitable equipment and components such as inverters, PV panels, switch bords etc.
Qualification Requirements
- Candidate possesses at least a Diploma in Building Services Engineering, Green Building & Sustainability, Intelligent Building Technology or Green Building Technology or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to design PV systems 415/400/230V power levels.
- Has knowledge in PVSYST, AutoCAD, BIM modeling and electrical design concepts.
- Aware of safety and standard requirements from local authority.
