Key Requirements / Job Description

Role : Banking DevOps Application Engineer/Developer

• Overall 05+ years IT experience is required.
• Must have recent working experience as a DevOps Engineer for at least 03+ years.
• Working experience in banking or financial domain as a DevOps Application Engineer is a must (2+ years)

Key Requirements/Must Have:

1. Must have current working experience in Installation/ Setup/ Upgrade/ Maintenance of at least 2 DevOps Tools for 2+ years.
2. Tools Administrator Experience of at least 2 DevOps Tools for at least 2+ years
3. Working experience in DevOps Tools debug, troubleshooting in depth is a must.
4. Production support mindset (24x7, must always think of housekeeping, monitoring, alerts and always check hygiene) - Must
5. Basic OS, server, network, system level tools troubleshooting (system logs, error logs, tomcat logs, network logs, docker logs )
6. Linux Experience (RHEL preferable)
7. Know how to write Shell/ Bash Scrips to automate mundane tasks

Domain : Banking

Good to Have:

1. Knowledge in Pipeline troubleshooting (check and troubleshoot when pipeline issue reported by domains, why Aldon fail, why SonarQube fail)
2. Experience with enhancing guard rails, monitoring for DevOps everything (system, platform, pipelines )
3. MS-SQL Database knowledge as end user. Know how to write basic SQLs to extract data
4. Experience in setup of CTRL-M Jobs as end user
5. Geneos & Splunk Experience (as end user to setup monitoring, dashboard)
6. Experience with Apache HTTPD Setup as reverse proxy & as Load Balancer
7. Experience with groovy & REST API to automate tasks
