Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all hard services maintenance activities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and respond to corrective maintenance needs promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Oversee and coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized hard services, ensuring work is performed to high standards and within agreed timelines.
- Ensure all hard services operations comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance.
- Provide technical support and guidance on hard services issues, troubleshooting problems and recommending solutions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inspections. Prepare regular reports on the status and performance of hard services.
- Assist in budget preparation and management for hard services, including tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of hard services within overall facility management operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on hard services.
- Experience in managing MEP systems and working with external contractors is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as related regulatory and safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work outside regular hours if required, and to respond to emergencies as needed.
