With our expansion, we are now seeking a proactive and client-focused Account Manager & Sales Coordinator with a solid understanding of marketing to manage client relationships and support our sales efforts. This role involves preparing and presenting sales proposals, following up on pitches, and ensuring smooth project handovers to the project management team. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator, presentable, and has experience in marketing to better align client needs with our services
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and acting as the primary point of contact for accounts
- Develop and present persuasive, marketing-informed sales proposals that align with potential clients' objectives
- Follow up on sales pitches and leads, maintaining consistent communication to move potential clients through the sales funnel
- Ensure that successfully pitched projects are smoothly transitioned to the project manager, with clear deliverables and expectations outlined
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables for client accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld
- Proactively communicate with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns in a timely manner
- Assist the director in scheduling appointments and managing the project timeline, ensuring deliverables stay on track
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure sales proposals and client communications are aligned with the company's marketing strategies and capabilities
- Present yourself professionally in all client interactions, maintaining a polished and confident demeanor
- Keep accurate records of sales proposals, contracts, communications, and timelines, ensuring the seamless handover of project details
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, sales coordination, or a related field, with some knowledge of marketing principles
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content marketing, or other marketing disciplines, and the ability to translate this into client proposals
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with clients confidently and professionally
- Ability to create detailed, marketing-informed sales proposals that effectively address client needs and objectives
- Experience in following up on sales pitches and managing client accounts from initial contact to project completion
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that timelines and project deliverables are tracked and met
- Proactive approach to client management, ensuring constant communication and alignment on project goals
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to represent the company well in client meetings and presentations
- Familiarity with CRM and project management software (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
Preferred experience/knowledge:
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role
- Experience working in an agency or a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and projects
- Knowledge of project management processes and best practices
