Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Chef Cookbook and Ansible. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing systems, and streamlining operational processes to ensure efficient and scalable deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts using Chef Cookbook and Ansible.
- Configure and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) to support deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud and on-premise environments.
- Monitor infrastructure health, conduct root cause analysis, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues.
- Ensure systems are secure and compliant with best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working with Chef Cookbook and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other configuration management tools such as Puppet or SaltStack.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Nagios.
