Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Supervisor, your pivotal role is to bridge the communication between organizational needs and employee performance. Your leadership will guide, support, and develop employees while managing a harmonious relationship between staff and the organization. Your focus on productivity, quality, and effective resource utilization will be key in driving success.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to achieve production goals, maintain quality standards, and meet cost objectives.
- Prioritize production schedules based on factors such as product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials availability.
- Plan and administer procedures to ensure smooth production operations and adherence to established standards.
- Develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas, optimizing resource allocation.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Foster team growth, continuous improvement, and a collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics & Smart System, or a related field is preferred.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the willingness to learn new software applications.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will be an added advantage.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Display a self-motivated attitude, thriving in a timeline-driven environment.
- Flexible to work night/day shifts as required by operational needs.
- Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork.
- Possess advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint, utilizing these tools for data analysis and reporting.
