In support of the 'Climate Change Impact on Erosion Failure Risk of Slopes in Singapore' project, the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking to hire a Research Associate to conduct risk assessments of slopes in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect data on infrastructure near slopes in Singapore
- Use multi-criteria decision-making methods, such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), to evaluate the risk of slope erosion
- Analyze the impact of climate change on slope erosion risk
Job Requirements:
- Master degree in civil engineering or geotechnical engineering
- Expertise in risk assessment, Geographic Information System (GIS), and climate change
- Strong background in engineering risk assessment and be capable of conducting slope data collection, multi-criteria decision-based risk evaluation, and studying the impacts of climate change on slope erosion risk
