What You’ll Do
- Carefully evaluate enhancement requests, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with architects to propose effective solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints.
- Develop detailed specifications, estimate workloads, plan project timelines, design test scenarios, and create comprehensive release documentation.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet stakeholder expectations and adhere to quality standards.
- Oversee monthly releases, adhering to the team's established milestones for analysis, coding, and testing.
- Provide ongoing support for released applications, ensuring their stability and performance in production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and bugs to maintain system reliability.
- Share your expertise by coaching and guiding junior team members.
What Will Make You Shine
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Calypso business analyst, specializing in the back office.
- Deep understanding of Calypso versions v14 to v17, with expertise in Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages (including Swift), Positions, Accounting, Corporate Actions, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Reconciliation features.
- Strong grasp of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and the trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting frameworks such as HRF, NORIA, and MMSR.
- Proficiency in interfacing Calypso with external systems.
- Proven ability to implement Non-Recoverable (NR) scenarios.
- Willingness to provide Level 3 support when necessary.
