Role Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Accounting team, specifically in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. This role also includes providing administrative assistance to senior stakeholders and involvement in other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue intercompany billings, ensuring timely and accurate processing of AR receipts.
- Perform administrative tasks, including clearing mails/in-trays for senior stakeholders (Directors/VPs), handling purchase requisitions/orders, managing office supplies, and overseeing local and international couriers for the business unit.
- Coordinate and maintain proper archival work.
- Serve as a backup for the Department Secretary during their absence.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: O-Level ~ Diploma
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative or secretarial work, preferably in an accounting environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions.
