Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain system and tool level simulation models for Micron’s global network or manufacturing facilities.
- Generate the simulation models for green field construction projects, providing direct feedback, considerations, and transformative ideas into the design process.
- Establish and maintain Micron’s global standard simulation business process.
- Collect and analyze AMHS system performance date for Micron’s manufacturing sites to identify system behavior, recommend design changes, and identify new processes that will improve Micron’s overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain a simulation data repository (SharePoint) that can be leveraged for historical validation as well as information sharing across multiple departments.
- Collaborate with Planning, SMAI, Layout, and Construction teams proficiently to understand Micron’s Long-Range Plan to ensure you are taking such considerations into account into your simulation activity.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience (MS Degree Preferred)
- Three to four years’ specific and relevant experience
- Proven track record of successfully simulating large, complex, semiconductor factory automation systems
- Expert proficiency using DEMO/Emulate 3D, AutoMod, or other similar simulation software applications
- Direct experience with Muratec, Daifuku, or Asyst Shinko AMHS systems
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
