Job Description
- Conduct pre construction survey and prepare report on the findings.
- Work with the Project Manager and come up with a detailed construction schedule.
- Review construction drawings issued by the design team, highlight any site discrepancies and buildability issues.
- Prepare and carry out site mobilization.
- Initiate kick off meeting with the trade contractors/vendors/suppliers.
- Carry out regular (weekly) site construction meeting and prepare minutes of meeting.
- Carry out daily inspection and inspect quality of vendors/contractors works.
- Coordinate works between different trade contractors/vendors/suppliers.
- Carry out safety tool box meeting (Maybe done together with the appointed safety coordinator where applicable)
- Filing of all necessary HSSE documentations.
- Prepare list of handover items such as Key Transmittal form, Training log/records, etc.
- Carry out joint inspection with client/consultant and prepare list of agreed defects.
- Carry out joint inspection with landlord during project completion.
- Ensure that all defects and outstanding works are cleared to close off the project.
- Where applicable, review the trade contractors/suppliers/vendors’ performances on site
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management or related disciplines.
- Over 5 years relevant working experience in corporate offices interior fit-out works with multi-national companies exposure preferred.
- Able to read architectural & technical drawings thus translates to construction activities.
- Good knowledge of statutory and safety regulations/requirements.
- Familiar with computer software such as Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
- Strong project planning, organizing, monitoring, supervising and controlling. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Highly independent, client oriented and team player.
