Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art algorithms and models for protein structure prediction and analysis.
- Utilize deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow to design and train novel protein language models.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate bioinformatics methods into biological research projects.
- Analyze and interpret high-throughput biological data, including next-generation sequencing and structural biology data.
- Contribute to the development of software tools and pipelines for protein structure prediction and analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, machine learning, and protein structure prediction methods.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in molecular visualization software, preferably PyMOL, for protein structure analysis.
- Demonstrated interest in protein structure and protein language models, with a focus on applying computational methods to solve biological problems.
- Familiarity with natural language processing and language models is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Previous research experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or related fields is highly desirable.
