Summary of Role:
The Global Asset Performance Team (formally known as CMT) is looking for an individual to join the team and driver improvement opportunities across GF within the Thin Films (CVD & PVD) Modules.
Essential Responsibilities Include:
- Identify and drive global productivity and cost/margin improvement opportunities with our worldwide Fabs.
- Partner with Fabs to achieve and exceed internal CPM (cost per move) targets across tools and modules.
- Bring subject-matter experts (SMEs) together and drive benchmarking and brainstorming towards improved Module/Operations performance.
- Be the influential global contact and leader for ONEGF module issues and drive meaningful dialog across our Factories, resulting in the identification and implementation of best-known-methods (BKMs) across sites.
- Drive standardization and optimization of key procedures / approaches that enable us to drive faster, more efficient improvements in productivity, cost, and quality.
- Identify gaps and help needed areas in each of the Fabs and enable help from other Fabs.
- Drive comprehensive scorecard / heatmap benchmarking between Fabs with a structured, methodical approach, establish clear improvement strategies, and roll up status, progress, and plans to executive management.
- Drive alignment on global tooling strategy, including golden-tool configurations with our worldwide Fabs.
- Collaborate closely with the Fab Module, Ops/Manufacturing, and global GCM / GSM / IE teams, be a true partner and independent arbiter to maximize wafer output with existing assets.
- Be a role model for true OneGF interactions and the powerful impact this has on GF's bottom line.

Required Qualifications:
- Education - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent experience
- Experience - Min 7years in semiconductor industry
- Strong background in Semiconductor process, modules and/or Operations/Manufacturing, extensive knowledge of semiconductor processing, operations, & understanding of equipment.
- Language Fluency – English (written & verbal)
- Travel ~20%
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. in Engineering or Science (e.g. Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering)
- Deep technical knowledge of Semiconductor tools and processing and/or Operations/Manufacturing, in particular Cleans and/or Implant/Diffusion areas.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various technical and Executive leadership teams.
