As an IT Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and oversee the company's business platforms and applications, such as Oracle Netsuite, while collaborating closely with relevant vendors to ensure the seamless operation of our business processes.
Additionally, you will be involved in daily IT activities, including End User Computing (EUC) support, IT asset inventory and lifecycle management, and vendor and contract management. This role also includes troubleshooting issues, as well as providing training and technical support when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Platform and Application Administration:
- Oversee and maintain business applications and platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Implement and manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve platform functionality.
- Collaborate with application vendors for support and continuous improvement initiatives, including configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting application modules and features to meet evolving business requirements.
End User Support:
- Deliver exceptional technical support to end users, promptly addressing IT-related inquiries and issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support the onboarding process by assisting and training new employees on IT systems and procedures.
Endpoint Protection Management:
- Oversee and maintain endpoint protection systems to ensure the security and integrity of the IT environment.
- Conduct regular updates, scans, and security checks to proactively safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Domain Administration:
- Create and manage domain user accounts, ensuring appropriate access and permissions align with user roles.
- Provide support for password resets and handle access requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Office 365 Administration:
- Administer Office 365 accounts and services, including email, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Monitor and optimize Office 365 performance while managing security settings to enhance operational efficiency and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Computer Science.
- Over 3 years of experience in an IT support environment
- Competent in IT service management methodologies with ITIL v4.0 experience as a plus
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and to negotiate effectively with vendors and partners
- Excellent problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and complex work environment
- Ability to work as a team and independently with minimum supervision
- Strong communication and writing skills will be an added advantage
- Good overall technical knowledge, including a basic understanding of all technical infrastructure aspects
