Job Description
The Training & Talent Executive embodies unwavering dedication to crafting effective training programs, fostering a learning culture, and nurturing talent for the industry through the Young Executive Committee. His/her adaptability, mentorship, and commitment is needed to drive growth, aligning with the association success as one of the industry training providers.
Responsibilities:
- Training Development: You will be responsible to assist the Technical Director in designing and developing training programs that align with our association's goals and objectives. This includes creating engaging and effective training materials, modules, and resources
- Training Management: As a Senior Training Officer, you will organise training sessions for members and non-members at various levels within the company. You will ensure that training is interactive, informative, and results-oriented. This includes being proactive to suggesting improvements / revisions to training course contents.
- Young Executive Committee: You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Young Executive Committee. This includes organising and facilitating committee meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and managing the committee’s activities to ensure smooth execution of its initiatives.
- Evaluation and Feedback: You will assess training effectiveness through various evaluation methods and gather feedback from trainees to continuously improve our training programs. This includes being proactive in translating gathered suggestions from trainers/class attendees on where SSA can improve on the training curriculum and programs.
- Mentorship: You will provide guidance and support to members, assisting them in their professional development.
- Compliance: Ensure that all training programs are compliant with the association policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and evaluation results.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma, A-Level or equivalent qualifications required (e.g., Diploma in Business Administration, etc.)
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related role
- Skills: Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, as well as assessing and improving training effectiveness. Favourable with good written and verbal communication
- Soft Skills: Interpersonal communication, teamwork, problem-solving, etc
- Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
