Receptionist cum Admin Assistant

This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Receptionist cum Admin Assistant.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE secondary school located in Yishun Avenue 7.

Contract Period: From 01 November 2024 to 31 Dec 2025(Base Period).

Option to Extend: a further period of 12 months from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
  • Fridays: 7:00 am to 3.30 pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

  1. Ensure that the day-to day operations and administration of the General Office is efficient and that he system, resources and equipment are well maintained, including

Reception

  • To handle frontline services and telephone enquiries
  • To attend to unwell students and render first aid if needed.
  • To administer lost and found items
  • Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of Reception Area at all times.

General Administration

  • To assist with general administration work such as handling mails, faxing, receiving goods, photocopy assignments, certificate issuance
  • To assist in data entry, record keeping and filing of documents.
  • Support school events and any duties as assigned by school.

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • At least a GCE O Levels Certification or equivalent
  • Shall minimally have 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in basic IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good customer service skills.
