We're seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the financial operations.
The company: Our client is an established construction organization, specializing in wide range of projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Process payments: Handle the full spectrum of accounts payable activities, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment preparation.
- Reconcile accounts: Reconcile supplier accounts and statements to ensure accuracy.
- Month-end closing: Assist with month-end closing tasks, including bank reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
- Ad-hoc tasks: Handle various ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to address queries and ensure compliance with financial policies.
What we're looking for:
- Education: A Diploma in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks software and strong attention to detail.
- Attributes: A team-oriented approach, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently.
