Job Description

· Receive shipments of supplies of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and other work-related supplies such as tools and silicone from vendors (the supplies are not related to material slabs).

· Inspect items as to quality and quantity against the orders and documents.

· Unpack the supplies received.

· Arrange the supplies in the store space available to assure safekeeping and accountability.

· Issuance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to workers.

· Update the Ops Control & Safety Executive if stocks for PPE are running low.

· Advise the Production Supervisor of the stock levels of the work-related supplies with respect to usage and space availability.

· Updates stock list for the PPE and the work-related supplies.

· Perform periodic audit of stock levels and advises supervisor of discrepancies.

· Ensure that all paperwork relative to receipts and issues is forwarded to proper personnel for processing or filing.

· Control the disbursement of supplies and material through directing the posting of inventory control.

· Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements

· Candidate should possess at least a Primary/O-Level/A-Level, any field.

· Able to work independently under minimum supervision.

· Experience in storing, issuing, shipping and receiving materials and supplies; applying purchasing procedures; applying inventory control methods preferred.

· Some knowledge of: safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
