Responsibilities
- Conduct thematic research to identify investment opportunities aligned with focus areas such as climate, energy, agri-food, marine, biomedical, aerospace, AI, robotics, advanced materials, etc.
- Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, assessing technical, financial, legal, commercial, and operational aspects
- Conduct market analysis, competitor review, and expert/customer interviews.
- Provide strategic and operational support to portfolio companies, contributing to their management, growth, and value creation.
- Expand fundraising efforts and manage relationships with both existing and prospective Limited Partners (LPs).
- Collaborate with senior team members to manage and oversee operations of the Singapore office.
- Participate in initiatives to build and strengthen the firm’s position as a leading deep-tech investment company in Asia and beyond.
Requirements
- Minimally 12 - 20+ years (for Director hire) or 5-11 years (for Principal hire) of professional experience in early-stage investment or commercializing deep tech innovations (with track record of achievements and establishments)
- Possess technical background in natural sciences or engineering (e.g. PhD, in-depth work experiences in the STEM fields, etc.)
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance or other relevant education background, preferably possess a Masters or PHD
- Seeking individual that also demonstrates a genuine curiosity and passion for cutting-edge technologies
