Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve a variety of steamed dishes in accordance with set quality standards.
- Assist in developing new dishes and menus, ensuring innovation and quality.
- Manage inventory and supplies to support daily operations.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Train junior staff on kitchen techniques and food safety practices.
- Support ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Executive or Sous Chef.
Requirements:
- Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent culinary certification.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, ideally in steam cooking.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented personality.
- Proactive, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
