Mechanical Drawings Engineers (Sheet Metal Division)
Key Responsibilities:
· Generates manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards for sheet metal fabrication works for Laser cut, Bending & Welding.
· Well vast in reading & understanding First, Third Angles Drawings & GD&T.
· Understanding the impact of Tolerance for Treatment, Powder Coat & Bending affecting products design.
· Full knowledge in Bending sequences’ & appropriate require Tools & Die for production.
· Understand K-Factor allowances for bending.
· Designs Jigs & Fixtures as the case may be. (For production Use)
· Interfaces with production leaders to understand products development.
· Liaising with customers for technical discussion & proposal.
· Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications and other data to evaluate the feasibility fabrication method.
· Specify mechanical components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
· Ability to lead, teach and transfer drawings knowledge to junior team members.
· Ensure Mechanical Drawings is generated timely to production floor.
Job Requirement
· 3 years experiences in sheet metal drawings development manufacturing environment.
· Proficient in 3D Solidworks is a MUST and 2D Cad.
· Daily Update of drawings completion is a MUST.
· Good mechanical aptitude, knowledge and detailing in technical drawings.
· Good command of the English language
· Excellent problem solving, time management skills & Team Player.
· Abilities to lead Junior members is a bonus.
