Responsibilities
- Assist in the smooth and efficient operation in accordance with corporate strategic direction.
- Contributes to organizational profitability by ensuring that claims are effectively registered and administered to
- Effectively manages loss costs and claim expenses.
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with both internal and external business.
- Makes recommendations on claim policy and procedures; and helps to drive claim initiatives.
- Assist the Head and Department in registration of incoming claims notifications, ensuring proper documentation and completeness of information, setting of initial reserves and authorizing payments
- Remains current on state/territory regulations and issues, industry activity and trends.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree
- Prior working experience within the Financial Services industry preferred
