Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the Accounts Department, ensuring its proper functioning
- Lead and manage the accounting team effectively
- Perform full set of accounts, finance duties including accounts receivable and payables, general ledger management, GST returns, bank reconciliation, cashflow management and foreign exchange transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and updated financial statements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Liaise with both internal and external parties on operational, audit, tax matters
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
- Prepare and perform timely submission of GST returns
- Undertake other ad hoc duties
Requirements
- Possess either Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Preferably with 3 - 5 years of experience leading a team in an Accounts Department
- Preferably well versed with ERP, Business Central in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with multi-currency dealings
- Must be hands-on, detailed and analytical minded
- Excellent interpersonal skills & communication skills
- Team player with high team spirit
