Are you passionate about stock trading and Investment analyst? We’re looking for a professional to join our investment team in Singapore who seek to develop a structured stock trading method as part of the firm investment/trading portfolio.
The Role: The firm is seeking a night trader in Singapore. Candidate with a strong grasp of liquidity and market sentiment on US stocks. The trader will put up trade ideas/plans with the Principal and Investment Director. The role will be responsible for trading on its own profit/loss within specified limits.
Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in both English and Mandarin and possess strong Mandarin/English writing skills.
- Analysing and interpreting large amounts of data related to the stock market and economy
- Identify investment opportunities and implement effective trading strategies.
- Build financial models to implement trading plans.
- Monitor portfolio(s) to ensure there are within trading limits/guidelines
- Communicating with the Principal, Investment Director, and Banks
- Request for Pricing and some order placement for FX/Equity/Structured product
- ·Research different sources for market updates (HK & US) and build financial models
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably majors in Math/ Stats/ Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency in the use of external databases including Bloomberg
- Excellent in written and spoken English/Mandarin
- More than 3 years of stock trading experience is a requirement
