Salesforce Enterprise Architect
The Salesforce Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in defining the technology roadmap and leading the design of enterprise-wide solutions, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce CRM, Salesforce 1, Slack, and integrations with Oracle Finance Cloud, ServiceNow, Workato, and custom applications. This role requires an experienced architect capable of driving large-scale digital transformation projects while ensuring seamless integration of cloud platforms and applications to support business goals. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Salesforce and other enterprise platforms, providing technical direction across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture Development: Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, focusing on aligning business needs with the best-fit technology solutions, particularly around Salesforce CRM and related platforms.
- Salesforce Architecture & Design: Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Salesforce solutions (Salesforce CRM, Salesforce 1), ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance. Guide the implementation of best practices for Salesforce development and integrations.
- Integration Strategy: Design and implement integration solutions across various platforms, including Oracle Finance Cloud, ServiceNow, Slack, Workato, and custom-built applications. Ensure seamless data flow, process automation, and secure integration between systems.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide architectural oversight and hands-on technical leadership in Salesforce, Oracle Finance, and ServiceNow implementations.
- Platform Optimization: Oversee the optimization and customization of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce 1, identifying opportunities to improve functionality and user experience. Leverage Slack as a collaboration tool integrated within Salesforce.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, finance, and other business units to gather requirements, define solutions, and drive system integrations that meet organizational objectives.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and governance frameworks for all enterprise applications and integrations.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to the adoption and implementation of Salesforce and integration platforms, including training and support for key stakeholders.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, Slack, and Workato to recommend innovative solutions that drive digital transformation.
- Documentation & Standards: Develop and maintain architecture documentation, integration standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in technology delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent certification in enterprise architecture is a plus.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on Salesforce platforms, integrations, and multi-cloud environments.
- Extensive experience architecting and implementing Salesforce CRM and Salesforce 1 solutions.
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise platforms such as Oracle Finance Cloud, ServiceNow, and Slack.
- Strong expertise in integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or similar tools.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Salesforce architecture, customization, and integration methodologies (API, web services, middleware).
- Proficient in Oracle Finance Cloud and ServiceNow platform integration.
- Knowledge of Workato and Slack for automation and collaboration enhancements.
- Experience with data modelling, data governance, and system security best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and hybrid cloud integration.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools, including Tableau or Einstein Analytics.
- Must have experience with Salesforce technologies, and ideally has architecture experience on a larger technical stack - i.e. snowflake, AWS, data management, etc.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with cross-functional business units.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
