The Role: We are seeking a Lead Science Teacher for our upcoming Headstart Programme, designed to bridge the gap between Primary 6 and Secondary 1. This isn’t just another teaching job—it’s an opportunity to lead a groundbreaking initiative that will shape the future of education for our students.
Contract Details:
- Position: Lead Science Teacher (Contract)
- Duration: 5 Weeks (Start Date: 11th November; Programme Dates: 25th November – 13th December)
- NO WEEKENDS Work Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am-6pm. Fridays are half-days filled with exciting field trips like Adventure HQ. Some days are full of teaching; others are dedicated to prepping lessons.
- Locations: Be flexible! Classes are conducted across various vibrant locations including Synergy, HomeTeam NS, and Toa Payoh SAFRA.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a vibrant group of P6 to Secondary 1 students through science experiments that pop, fizz, and wow.
- Use storytelling to make complex scientific concepts come alive in the classroom.
- Collaborate with a passionate team of Lead Teachers and Assistants to create an enriching and interactive learning experience.
- Prepare for your classes during the initial 2-weeks onboarding period, where you’ll get familiar with our innovative teaching materials and approach.
- Guide students through fun-filled Fridays at Adventure HQ, ensuring that learning happens both in and out of the classroom.
