The Integrative Adolescence Research Programme (IARP) initiative aims to understand the Singapore adolescents’ health through psychological well-being, aspects of physical health and environmental factors.
The successful candidate will
- Plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocol, and the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
- Support research ethics board applications.
- Plan, implement, and maintain data collection in accordance to research protocol.
- Recruit, instruct, and coordinate research subjects and/or volunteers, as appropriate to specific study objectives and work scope.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities.
- Work with participants across a range of settings (e.g., hospital, university research lab), and hours (e.g., some weekends and evenings)
- Support additional research and administrative duties (e.g., preparation of manuscripts for publication, conference presentations, purchases, grant reports)
- Monitor the progress of research activities; develops and maintains records of research activities, and prepares periodic and ad hoc reports, as required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- BSc degree in psychology, neuroscience, child development, biology or related fields.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication skills
- Team oriented, proactive, willing to learn, able to work independently, good communication skills and able to multi-task.
